Aside from that, his advice on preparing for rejection struck me. He shares that it’s part of what you’ll be facing. There will be times when clients can reject you or even times when you reject clients, but it’s all okay and it’s normal. He shares that in taking this journey of a virtual professional you must remember to remain open-minded and that when facing rejection or feedback look at it like you are a notebook, ready to be filled on how to become even better.

It’s also filled with life changed testimonies who have switched from regular office day jobs to becoming a virtual professional. I can’t count the many times each individual shared how their life had changed switching to a virtual career. The book has enlightened me and made me see the beauty of working from home and how life is really different when you have an everyday office job. It has pushed me to continue on this journey of studying on my own and soon starting my freelancing work as well.
